Don’t you also hate to look at a property online and find out it was already rented property? On our website, there is no need to look at the rented property once you know how to use the system.
When you go apartment hunting, you don’t want to find out later that the ones that you like, are rented.
The other day, someone complained about having to look at the rented property before finding what’s available in an email:
I would like to make a suggestion that when a unit has been “Rented” that you remove it from the website rather than leaving it up there with the word “Rented” on it. As I was viewing available rental units most of them that caught my attention indicated “Rented” on it and that got to be a bit annoying. As renters or buyers we would rather see what is “available” and not what has been “rented” or “sold”. Thank You.
Rented property
Sold property is always deleted from our website after a couple of weeks. We never keep sold property online, unless the seller doesn’t tell us it’s sold. But that’s a story for another blog.
A rented property is different though. Agents don’t want to delete a rental listing every time it’s under a lease agreement. Then they’ll have to upload it again every time the rental comes back on the market.

Advanced search
Go to the Property search on our home page. There you’ll find a complete property search that includes a “Listing Type”. This holds a scroll-down menu that you can set on “For Rent”. If you click that and then search, you won’t have to look at all that rented property anymore.
